Positive Behaviour Learning PBL
Positive Behaviour Learning (PBL) is an educational process that brings together the whole-school community to contribute to developing a positive safe and supportive learning culture.
PBL is a process not a program. When PBL is implemented well, teachers and students have more time to focus on relationships and classroom instruction.
At KPS we implement PBL:
* to develop and use a common vision, language and experience across the school in regards to student behaviour
* to set clear expectations for students and staff
Our 3 main core values are Respect, Responsibilty and Personal Best.
Students are rewarded 1 PBL point for each day they attend school and demonstrate our school values of Respect, Responsibilty and Personal Best.
They can acheive levels of Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond throughout the year. Students achieve rewards for reaching these levels.
Our Term 3 PBL reward was an online Zoom disco the students had a great time.
